Welcome
My passion for yoga began in 2014, and in 2019 I completed a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher training through Life Time Fitness. I immediately began teaching both private sessions and studio classes, allowing my personal practice to evolve alongside my role as a teacher. These early years opened the door to meaningful travel and teaching opportunities, including guiding yoga at a healing sanctuary in Mindo, Ecuador, as well as multiple music and art festival settings across Utah and Colorado.
Through my practice and teaching journey, I discovered that the time I spent on my mat directly influenced my confidence, resilience, and presence off the mat. Yoga continues to teach me self-compassion, unconditional love, balance, and the importance of meeting myself—and others—exactly where we are.
Yoga was also my introduction to the power of somatic healing, not only for the physical body, but for the mind and spirit as well. Wanting to deepen my understanding of how the body functions as an interconnected whole, I pursued further education in anatomy, kinesiology, and therapeutic touch by completing a 900-hour Licensed Massage Therapy program in 2022. During my training, I studied Advanced Integrative Therapies, Hydro & Spa Therapy, Sports and Rehabilitative Massage, and Asian Bodywork, and I was attuned to my first degree of Reiki.
Since completing my massage therapy education, I have opened my own commercial practice in Sandy, Utah, while continuing to travel for events, teach workshops, and expand my professional experience. I also had the opportunity to work two seasons at a Forbes Five-Star Spa in Deer Valley, Utah, refining my skills in high-level luxury and restorative care.
Continuing education is a priority in my work. I have completed additional training in facial massage, joint mobilization, and was attuned to my second degree of Reiki in 2024. In 2025, I travelled to Thailand to complete an additional certification in Traditional Thai Massage, further expanding my skill set and deepening my respect for this ancient healing modality. I am deeply honored to be recognized as Best of Business – Top Massage Therapist in Sandy, Utah (2024) and to be nominated Top 3 for Best of SLC “Yoga Studio” in 2025.
This work represents my commitment to bridging Eastern and Western approaches—uniting movement and stillness, science and intuition, structure and flow. I aim to offer a distinctive, personalized approach to the art and science of holistic healing. My hope is that this bodywork supports you in feeling more present, pain-free, grounded, and deeply connected to your true essence.
Hello! My name is Brielle and I'll be your facilitator today.
Over the past several years, my focus has been on expanding my understanding of the human body and how to best support the overall health of body, mind, and spirit. This journey has led me through yoga teacher training, massage therapy school, and ongoing continuing education, ultimately inspiring the creation of 'Ropana Bodywork'.
The word 'Ropana' originates from ancient Sanskrit and is referenced throughout Ayurvedic literature, Buddhism, and Hindi. It translates to the healing of wounds, planting, sowing, or raising. Forms of bodywork have existed since the beginning of humankind, supporting people in achieving greater ease, resilience, and quality of life. Ropana Bodywork exists to support you on your lifelong journey of wellbeing, health, and optimal function.
