48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to cancel appointments at least 48 hours in advance will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled appointment fee which will be processed on the credit card retained on file to reserve appointment. Clients who miss their appointment without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service.
If you need to reschedule because you are not feeling well or have any flu like symptoms, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. There will be no fee charged for cancellations due to illness.
Scheduling
All services, besides group yoga classes, are scheduled by appointment only. Please read all policies and follow booking link to schedule. All appointments require a credit/debit card to request/schedule a service. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment and are not obligated to use their credit card for payment. New clients must fill out intake form upon arrival before beginning service. For inquiries about mobile services, please follow contact me.
Age Requirement
Minors (under 18yrs old) must be accompanied by parent/guardian to ALL scheduled appointments. Failure to arrive and complete session with parent/guardian present will result in automatic cancellation and full scheduled service charge which will be processed on the credit card retained on file to reserve appointment.
Payment
Full payment is due at time of service. I accept cash, Venmo, & credit card. All credit card charges will result in a 3.5% surcharge added to the original appointment total. All Venmo charges will result in a 3% surcharge added to the original appointment total. These fees will be waived when using cash. Sales tax will be applied to all retail item transactions.
Arriving Late
If you are late to your session you are welcome to receive whatever time is left in your appointment. All treatment sessions have a specific time schedule therefore I am generally unable to extend you session beyond the original appointment time. Regardless of the length of the service actually given, you will be responsible for payment of the full service you scheduled.
Gift Cards
Gift cards may be purchased for any value amount by email and are redeemable for services and items. Ropana Bodywork is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or unauthorized cards. Gift cards do not expire. Choose the design of your gift certificate online, preview it, and then send immediately.
Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in the price of services and are always appreciated. All gratuities are at the clients discretion.
Health Considerations
Please inform me at time of scheduling of any health conditions, allergies, special needs, or concerns you have. Your safety is important & some services may not be appropriate for certain conditions. It is the responsibility of the client to keep the massage therapist informed of any medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc. that the massage may be continued. The client must also keep the massage therapist informed of any changes in health conditions.
Communication and Respect
All aspects of your service/session can be modified to your preference: pressure, lighting in the room, style of music, music volume, temperature, and whether or not you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence. The client may choose to: leave on as much clothing as needed for comfort, refuse any massage methods, stop the massage at any time. The client will always be modestly draped. Only the area being worked on will be undraped. The clients will be kept informed of the area to be massaged. Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind between the client and massage therapist is NEVER appropriate.
Insurance Billing
I do not offer direct insurance billing at this time. I can provide a receipt for your session that you may be able to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You must contact your health insurance provider to inquire about covered plan benefits and instruction. You are responsible for payment at the time of service.
